But most of the time, what we’re actually holding onto is:

A story we’ve told ourselves for years
We believe, “If I just hold on long enough, it’ll make sense.”
But what if it already does?
What if your peace starts the moment you stop trying to force the outcome?
Here’s the truth we don’t say out loud:
Letting go isn’t weakness—it’s wild strength.
It’s trusting that life will catch you.
It’s honoring what used to serve you, and making space for what will.
It’s choosing yourself, even when it hurts.
Letting go doesn’t mean you’re giving up.
It means you’re growing up.
Letting go is a practice. It’s not a one-time “ah-ha” moment.
So here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you loosen your grip—gently.
Ask yourself:
What am I clinging to out of fear, not faith?
What feels heavy every time I think about it?
What drains me more than it feeds me?
Clarity starts with honesty. Write it out. Speak it out. No judgment—just truth.
A lot of what we hold onto once served a purpose.
That job, that friendship, that habit—it helped you survive, cope, or grow.
But just because something helped you then doesn’t mean it belongs to you now.
